The California Hotel and Casino is to
be found a block from the Fremont Street
Experience. The rooms of the hotel, which were entirely renovated and
extended in 2006, are all furnished in the Hawaiian style. Here palms and
other Hawaiian decor are to be found everywhere you look.
A number of the 781 rooms and suites of the California Hotel and Casino,
which was built in 1975, are outfitted with mahogany furniture and marble
bathtubs. They are spread through two towers.
The hotel facilities include a number of restaurants, two lounges, an arcade,
a pool as well as a casino. This latter is fitted with crystal chandeliers,
etched glass and Italian marble, and offers its visitors video poker and
games machines in Hawaiian style.
The stores, which can be found in the large entertainment complex on Bridge
Avenue, specialize in Hawaiian goods. These products are offered to visitors
in stores like Cal Gift Shop, Aloha Specialities and Vegas 808. |
