The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum opened in October 2001 inaugurating a partnership between the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in New York and the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. This unprecedented collaboration enables the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum to present a broad spectrum of exhibitions drawn from these two permanent collections. Exhibitions change every nine months.
