The Hilton Hotel was made famous thanks
to Elvis Presley. He established a record at this hotel of 837 soldout
concerts. Today in the Hilton Theater, which was the King’s stage, Barry
Manilow appears regularly. When Barry Manilow is on tour, other stars like
Reba McEntire, Chaka Khan and Johnny Mathis appear here. Five nights a week
Menopause – The Musical, a live dance music show, is played in the annex.
The Hilton's 3 174 rooms, which are spread over 30 stories, are almost all
entirely newly renovated. Each has an exceptional view out over the Strip,
the mountains or the golf course.
The hotel has on offer 13 restaurants, bars, casinos, its well-known "Race &
Sports Book", 2 night clubs, the much loved "Star Trek: The Experience" (a
simulator shaped like the Starship Enterprise), a Star Trek Museum and a
Star Trek Casino with futuristic slot machines, a heated and seasonally open
swimming pool, and a whirlpool on the roof terrace. Health spas with fitness
center, steam bath, sauna and massage applications are of course not here to
be missed.
The Hilton was the first hotel in Las Vegas for which it could be said that
here was a "city within a city." In this hotel was everything the visitor
could need: games, entertainment, restaurants, stores. You never needed to
leave the building. |
