The Hooters Casino and Hotel was opened
in 2006. The former San Remo was
entirely renovated and offers today 696 rooms, eight new restaurants and
much more to its guests. The rooms, furnished in the Florida style, are
spread through a high-rise with a total of 19 stories and a two story
building in low-rise style. The hotel is only a block from the Las Vegas
Strip.
The most important feature of this hotel is of course the Hooters Girls. The
barely-clothed, exclusively female servers are intended to provide a
pleasant atmosphere for visitors. Between times, one or other of them may
perform a little dance or join in a song with the predominantly male
clientele.
A special attraction is the Hooters racecar, which stands in the hotel. This
took part in the 1992 NASCAR Championship. The visitor can watch videos in
special kiosks about the racing history of the car and information and
history about the driver who died in it, Alan Kulwicki, can be listened to
through headsets.
On the hotel premises can be found also a large casino area with a surface
area of 30,000 square feet, offering to guests around 670 slot and poker
machines, 32 gaming tables and scores of gambling tables offering roulette
or black jack. |
