Although the Mandalay Bay in fact lies in
the desert, in this hotel resort you
can enjoy a south sea atmosphere. The 43-story hotel offers its guests a 4
hectare tropical laguna with sandy surf beach. The visitor is even treated
to (artificial) waves. The hotel spa offers a luxurious health facility,
which counts among the fanciest in Las Vegas.
One of the best-loved tourist attractions in Las Vegas is to be found in the
Mandalay Bay – the Shark Reef. This enormous aquarium takes the form of a
sunken temple and visitors can walk among 1,200 different types of sea
creatures, such as sharks, exotic fish, sea turtles and crocodiles.
Further attractions of the Mandalay Bay are the Lazy River, the waterfall
and the ruins, the House of Blues and the Aureole.
The House of Blues counts among the cosiest lounges in Las Vegas. Here jazz
and blues musicians entertain their guests with live music.
The Aureole is a restaurant that serves as many American as European dishes.
There is an extraordinary wine cellar that consists of a four-story glass
tower. |
