The Palms Casino Resort became well known
through the MTV series The Real World: Las
Vegas. The music-oriented hotel is located a mile from the Strip and is
preferred by young celebrities and leisure trippers, who like the music and
nightclub facilities of the hotel.
The hotel consists of over 705 rooms and suites spread through two buildings
of 40 and 55 stories each. It offers its guests a 90,000 square feet casino,
an 80,000 square feet pool complex built over several levels, and a large
health spa over three stories, within which a gym and yoga course are
available.
Worthy of mention is of course the Ghostbar on the 55th floor, which
features the room-high window and a dance floor with plexiglass floor on the
balcony. Another nightclub in the Palms is called the Rain, is spread over
three floors and offers guests an elevated dance area, pyrotechnics, and a
VIP lounge. Live shows and performances take place in The Pearl, built with
concerts in mind.
In addition the Palms Casino Resort offers a movie theater with 14 cinemas,
as well as its own gastronomic offerings. Included in this are a French
gourmet restaurant and Italian, Mexican, and Asian buffets. |
